Diocese of Kasese has officially announced 6th August 2022 as the date for priestly and deaconate ordination to be hosted by Kasese Cathedral Parish.
This year’s ordination will be the 24th since the creation of diocese of Kasese from Fort Portal diocese in 1989.
Kasese Cathedral Parish Last hosted such function on 24th June 2017 at St. John Paul 2 memorial ground during the ordination of Rev. Fr. Godfrey Sunday, the Parish Priest Nsenyi and Rev. Fr. Joseph Sempajja.
The Diocesan Vocation Director Diocese of Kasese, Rev. Fr. Joseph Tumusiime said preparation is in high gear , saying mass is expected to begin with a procession at 09.30 am.Fr. Tumusiime speaking 1 ……
He asked Christians to pray for the priestly and deaconate candidates as well as praying and supporting the function.

Fr. Tumusiime also confirmed the return of all priests from their six day retreat at St. Paul National Seminary Kinyamasika-Fort portal, saying they have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve God’s flock.

He revealed that all ordained priests shall have their thanksgiving Mass on 07th August 2022 in their respective churches. END.
