By Kyamanduma Patrick,
Nyakahya Catholic parish in the Diocese of Kasese has joined the rest of the Mother Church to honor Mother Mary, with a call on Christians to pray through her intercession for deliverance from sin.
For centuries, the Catholic Church has set aside the entire month of May to honor Mary, Mother of God.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio last evening, Rev. Fr. Godwin Kibaba, the Curate for Nyakahya Model parish in the Diocese of Kasese who flagged off Christians into the Veneration of the Blessed Virgin Mary beginning with Kisolholho and later to St. Leonard Kisanga catholic churches yesterday, emphasized the power of the Rosary which he asked Christians to recite always because it’s very origin and the wisdom of its composition is “more divine than human.” as Pope Pius XII points out.
Rev. Fr. Kibaba speaking………
He asked Christians to cement their Salivation by seeking for the intercession of the Blessed Mother Mary whom he said is always ready to intercede for them. END.
