Mr. Joseph Nzukwa, the Education Management Information system Coordinator for Rwenzori Region has urged teachers to impress the system which he said will address learning challenges in the education sector.
Addressing Primary school heads of department in Kasese Municipality yesterday at Kasese Secondary School, Nzukwa said EMIS is compulsory in all Primary schools in Uganda, therefore urging head teachers and heads of department to learn the system to avoid inconveniencies.
He said the system will integrate information about learners and teachers so that it is available for different decision makers.

The system will also give confidence on the information head teachers are entering into the data system, Nzukwa said.
