The Born Again Faith in Kasese district with funding from Calvary Chapel Taos in the United States of America has donated an assortment of relief items to landslide victims encamped at Mapata Trading Centre in Bugoye Sub-county.
Early this month, Kasese district experienced heavy rains that caused mudslides that led to destruction of property and loss of lives in some parts of the district.
Led by Moses Thabugha, the Bishop of the Born Again Faith in Kasese who is also attached to Deliverance Outreach Ministries International (DOMI), the delegation delivered 1,250 kilograms of maize flour, salt, 15 tapelines, Jerry cans, soap and dozens of saucepans to the 60 households currently staying in the camp.
While addressing the beneficiaries, Thabugha revealed that about USD 2000 used to procure the relief items was solicited by Pr. John and Brother Joshua from United States of America. Bishop Thabugha speaking ……

Bishop Thabugha had earlier indicated that their decision to donate to the needy was to fulfill the biblical scriptures about helping the orphans, widows and those in need thus appealing to People of God to give a helping hand to these flood victims in the district. END
