The health condition at Mapata internally displaced people’s camp in Bugoye sub-county Kasese district is in sorry state, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
At least 60 households are temporarily encamped at Mapata trading centre after landslides hit their homes early this month following heavy down pour.
Speaking to our reporter yesterday at Mapata IDP camp , Mr.Uziah Mbuli, said the over 183 people staying in the camp are reportedly sharing two dilapidated pit latrines, a situation that puts lives of people at risk of disease outbreak.
