The Kasese Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator, Rev. Fr. Modesto Masereka Kasenyangwe has announced that the diocese will be celebrating scientific Holy mass and other prayers using the airwaves of Kasese Guide Radio and other Media platforms.
This follows the closure of all places of worship for 42 days by the President of the Republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni during his National address on Covid-19 last Sunday.
Speaking to our reporter in an interview last evening at Kasese Guide Radio gardens, Fr. Kasenyangwe said the diocese will use the same way it used during the previous lockdown in utilizing the airwaves of Kasese Guide Radio and other social media platform to evangelize, adding that daily and Sunday Masses will be broadcasted live at the time yet to be approved by the leadership of Kasese Cathedral Parish and KGR administration.

The Kasese Diocesan Charismatic Spiritual director, Rev. Fr. Francis Asiimwe reported that the diocese has also closed all prayer centers and encouraged believers in Christ to pray from their homes as one family while observing SOPs as directed by the ministry for health.
