A fire whose source remains unknown gutted a five rented house in Kisanga B ward in Nyamwamba division destroying properties, worth millions of money.
Whereas Police has not commented on the incident, reports indicate that the fire started at 12.00am from the rented room of Mr. Moses Muthabali, a Uganda Broadcasting Cooperation-UBC journalist based in Kasese district, before it spread to other rooms.
Hon.Leonard Kasereka, the male councilor representing Kisanga B Ward, who rushed at the scene said no life was lost in the fire as police investigates the cause of the fire. Hon. Kasereka speaking….
Meanwhile, another house has gutted fire in Lhuhwahwa village in Kisinga sub-county, leaving properties burnt to ashes.
Mr. Joseph Kule, a Para social worker in Kisinga, confirmed the incident and identified the landlord as Mr. Moris Masereka, a resident in the same area.
Mr. Joseph, attributed the fire to phone charging caused by short circuit, after the family had gone to attend burials in Kamughobe Village.
