Rev. Fr. Arthur Joseph Ssempajja of the diocese of Kasese has been appointed by Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades as the new Parish Priest of St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Parish in South Bend diocese, Indiana in the United States of America.

Fr. Arthur Joseph Ssempaija was ordained a priest together with the Nsenyi Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Godfrey Sunday by the Ordinary of Kasese Rt. Rev. Francis Kibira Kambale on 24th June 2017 at St. John Paul II memorial grounds in the Diocese of Kasese cathedral Parish.

He was later appointed to serve as a teacher at St. John the Evangelist Minor Seminary-Kiburara as his first ministry as a priest.

In 2019, Bishop Kibira sent him USA to pursue his two master degrees at the same time, a master degree in Business Administration and Master of Global Affairs, graduating in May 2022, before commencing on his PHD.

In his WhatsApp post to this radio, Fr. Arthur confirmed the information saying he was asked by the Bishop of South Bend diocese to shepherd to the folk as he pursues his studies.

He commended the Bishop Diocese of Kasese Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira for the opportunity of studying while serving, before asking believers in Christ to continue praying for him.
