Rev. Sr. Scovia Nazziwa Abooki from the congregation of the daughters of St. Teresa of the child Jesus renewed her vows for one year before the alter of Christ with a call on believers to prayers for the religious and all in the ministry of Jesus.
Sr. Scovia from Kinyarugonjo Parish Hoima Diocese was supposed to be one of the six religious sisters who made their perpetual vows on 06th Jan 2023 at Virika Cathedral before she felt sick one day to the function.
In his speech shortly after presiding over Mass at St. Peter’s Banyateresa Sister’s convent Kasese Cathedral Parish, the Convent Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Augustine Sunday Masereka cautioned Christians against hatred but rather pray for blessing to enable people succeed in their various vocations.
He asked those that witnessed Sr. Scovia renewal her vows to pray for her.
