    The Nyamwamba East cell local council one chairperson in Nyamwamba Divison in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Moses Kathaba has called for plans to temporarily give part of Mubuku Irrigation scheme land to some trusted hard working farmers for fast growing crops for survival during this lock down.

    Speaking to Kasese Guide radio on phone, Mr. Kathaba who said that it was expensive for some farmers to rent a piece added that some people were living idle around yet they have the potential to produce both for food and commercial purposes. Mr. Kathaba speaking1……….

    Mr. Kathaba who hailed the RDC and the Good Samaritans for the relief food called for plans to aid the boda-boda riders who helplessly camp at their stages each morning with no hope for survival.

    Earlier yesterday, the Muhokya subcounty Chairperson local council three, Mr. Ernest Kasoke called for hard work especially in the Agricultural sector than resorting to stealing, an act that is taking route in some parts of his area. Mr. Kasoke Ernest one……….

    He had argued the local residents to promote kitchen gardens that require small plots for purposes of improving their diet. END.
