Seventeen more operators of the Allied Democratic Forces have surrendered after a successful joint operation Shujaa against a terrorist Camp in Ndalia in Erengeti town in the DR Congo, Maj. Bilal Katamba, the Public Relations and Spokesperson for the Operation has said.
Maj. Katamba who is also the Spokesperson for the Mountains Division headquartered in Muhoti in Fort-portal City said fifteen of the 17 ADF operators currently in their security hands, are women.
He said some of the captured former ADF members surrendered to a FARDC detachment in Ndimo after the DR Congo and UPDF joint forces maintained fire against the subversive operators, some of whom were put out of action. Maj. Katamba speaking1………
Maj. Katamba who said their detachments were open for any ADF operator willing to surrender, indicated that the joint forces were combing the jungles to rescue any of the remnants who could have been trapped there during the cross fire. Maj. Katamba speaking2……..
He argued parents and relatives with children in the ADF circles to ask them to surrender for their individual developments, as well as Uganda END.
