Kasese Chief Magistrate’s court has released Mr. Remegio Thembo Ikwera, head teacher Kasese Primary school on cash bail of two million and non-cash bail of five Million shillings to his sureties.
Court Presided over by the Kasese Chief magistrate Court her worship Ajok Betty heard that, the accused allegedly collected school dues from Universal Primary Education-UPE learners during first term, which is contrally to universal Primary and secondary education.
Speaking to Our Reporter Shortly after Court, lawyer representing the accused Counsel Mishele Geoffrey from Bagenda and Co. advocates said court released Mr. Ikwera after approving he was sickly and had spent a lot of time out of school being an administrator.
The three sureties are Mr. Kule Ezra Kamba, a Business man in Kasese town, Rev Benjamin Nelson, head teacher Kamaiba primary school and Ms. Kabasomi Mary head teacher Kirembe primary school.

Counsel Godfrey Oundo, the resident state attorney had no objection tothe Court bail but told court that his second and third witness has declined to appear even when he had summoned them.
