Police at their Base camp post in Kasese Municipality are hunting for a head teacher of Basecamp primary school on suspicions of stealing metallic desk stands from his school.
OC Basecamp Police Corporal, Corporal Festo Balirikene confirmed the information and identified the suspect on run as Joseph Kule cotton, the head teacher Basecamp primary school in Kasese Municipality.
CPL Festo said the complaint was reported by the Chairperson School management who also doubles as the Chairperson LC One for Basecamp lower cell Mr. Jafali Kigutiha after encountering a Boda-boda rider carrying suspected school desks and metallic stands they alleged were sold to them by the head teacher said to be in hiding. The Chairperson LC Two Basecamp ward in Kasese town Mr. Charles Bwambale said the Boda-boda rider carrying stolen property seems to have had a friction with the suspected buyer who wanted them to take diversionary routes on seeing Mr. Kigutiha closing to them before the matter ended at police. Mr. Joseph Kule Cotton, the school head teacher and suspect says that he went hiding over arrest threats by security and failure by his supervisors at school to pick his calls but that he would be at police today to clear his name.
