Farmers in Kasese district have been cautioned against environmental degradation so as to minimize destructions caused by disasters in the district.
Since 2013 to date, the district has witnessed a number of disasters in form of floods, landslides, draughts and soil erosion due to poor methods of guarding environment.
While addressing over 1200 people yesterday who are camping at Kiraro primary school after Bughabirwa and part of Kiraro were hit by landslides, Dr. Crispus Kiyonga blamed the incident to human activities including poor methods of farming.

On COVID-19, Dr. Kiyonga says that a lot is still needed among Ugandans to ensure that the virus which has placed the so called super power countries upside down is fought by following the Ministry of Health and Presidential guidelines including social distancing and wearing of face masks to dot.
