    Delayed PDM cash create suspicions in Kasese

    The applicants for the Parish Development Model funds in Railway Ward in Kasese Municipality have threatened to stage a peaceful demonstration over what they call delayed disbursement of the money.

    Some intending beneficiaries are also disturbed with what they call bulky paper work involved in the application they say need a lot of technical interpretation at a time the world has gone digital.

    Ms. Neverless Biira like other PDM intending beneficiaries in Kidodo cell said, she was stressed by the said unresolved technical matters and the jubilation of some community members in other areas of Kasese district who have received. Ms. Neverless speaking……

    Some other community members including Ms Annet Muhindo Mama Bogere like others, called for investigations into allegations that the program was being politicized. Ms. Annette speaking………

    Mr. Godfrey Bwambale, the Kasese Municipal Commercial officer who said they were targeting more one thousand eight hundred beneficiaries in the first phase, clarified however that the disbursement has been delayed largely by network among other challenges.
