The Bishop diocese of Kasese Rt. Rev. Francis Kibira Kambale has warned seminarians against consumption of alcohol and other indiscipline acts but rather act to defend their vocation.
In his speech shortly after presiding over a Holy Mass at Nsenyi Parish where ten seminarians were admitted lectors and acolytes and six as serious candidates, Bishop Kibira who asked the lay-faithful to support him pay for the seminarians doing their Theology, asked parents and guardians of seminarians to guide and advise them against the danger of alcoholism, saying he will not tolerate such acts. He asked Christians in the diocese of Kasese to work closely with priests in their respective parishes, urging seminarians to respect and listen to Christians whom he said are the living church of Christ.

The vocations director Diocese of Kasese, Rev. Fr. Joseph Tumusiime said among the ten seminarians, five will go for pastoral work in parishes while others will be admitted for theology before he called on them to live an exemplary life in respect to their calling and trust in God who calls them.
