A parent who allegedly assaulted her daughter over demand for school fees has been re-arrested this morning and detained at Kasese Central Police Station, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
Rwenzori East Region Spokesperson, ASP Nelson Tumushiime identified the suspect as Mr. Emmanuel Muhindo 38, resident of Nyabibwa Village in Rukoki Sub-County.
ASP Tumushiime said Emmanuel who was arrested yesterday and applied for Police bond at Rukoki police post was re-arrested after failing to meet bond conditions.
Tumushiime who described the act as inhuman inflicting deep wounds on his biological daughter using a panga while demanding fees, said Emmanuel’s file will be forwarded to the state attorney for advice about Grievous harm.ASP Tumushiime on assault….
The Chairperson Local Council one Buhaghura Parish in Rukoki Sub-County, Mr. Baguma Yosia Kabe said the suspect’s re- arrest followed complaints to the RDC and DPC this morning demanding explanation how the suspect with evidence could be released without prosecution.

Mr.Emmanuel,s daughter Ms. Praise Musoki is nursing wounds at Katadoba Muslim health centre four in Kasese town.
Ms. Praise told this Radio at her hospital bed last evening that being the first person in her family with the highest education level of Primary seven, prays to God and partners in development to solicit fees for her to have her dream of achieving education realized. END.
