    USMID solar lights to be probed by authorities

    Mr. Farouk Kibaba, the president for Kasese Municipal Development Forum has called for calmness among the local residents since his office has received complaints about what is perceived by the local community as poor solar lights installed on Margarita Street in Kasese town.

    Residents have been complaining about the poor solar system installed on Margarita Street currently under construction by USMID.

    Farouk said he soon will convene a meeting with the contractor China Railway 18 and the Municipal technical team to make comparison with other roads under USMID program. Mr. Farouk speaking…
