President Yoweri Museveni has made new police appointments two days after meeting the new Inspector General of Police, Abbas Byakagaba.
In the new appointments, Senior Commissioner of Police Fred Enanga, who has been police Spokesperson for nearly seven years has been appointed Deputy Director Interpol- Uganda.
Enanga, who will deputize Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Grace Akullo, has been replaced with Assistant Commissioner of Police Rusoke Kituuma.
ACP Kituuma has been the Regional Police Commander Rwizi policing region.
Kituuma will be deputized by Assistant Commissioner of Police Clare Nabakka who has been deputizing Enanga ever since Commissioner of Police Polly Namaye went on course at Bwebajja Command and Staff College among others. END.
