    Unlicensed private schools in Kasese threaten to be closed

    Kasese municipal authorities have threatened to close unlicensed private schools, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.

    According to the Municipal Education officer, Mr. Emmy Kayiri, private schools whose licenses expired have been required to renew.

    Addressing the press at Verina Gardens in Kasese town last evening, Mr. Kayiri said the Town Clark will soon issue reminder notices to the affected schools, whose licences either expired during the lockdown or after lifting lockdown to renew. Mr. Kayiri on License 1…..

    He cautioned proprietors of private schools with unlicensed boarding section to send back the learners or risk closure.

    Mr.Zephanus Mubingwa, the Kasese Deputy RDC in charge of Busongora County called for collaborated effort to have private schools that so not add value to the learner’s closed. END.
