Uganda has recorded three COVID-19 deaths and 94 cases in a single day, registering a total number of deaths in the country to 19.
A statement from the Ministry of Health issued today indicates that the deceased are all residents of Kampala who presented with signs and symptoms of the virus.
Two are male, aged 45 and 31-year-old and a 57-year-old female who passed on after being admitted at different hospitals in Kampala.
In addition, 94 of the 3,046 samples tested yesterday turned positive.
Uganda has now confirmed a total of 1,750 cases and 1,194 recoveries. END
