    The Kasese catholic diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has this afternoon donated food relief to the displaced people living in the two Kanyangeya camps.

    The Kasese catholic diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has this afternoon donated food relief to the displaced people living in the two Kanyangeya camps.

    While speaking to our reporter shortly after the delivery of the aid, the Bishop who said he observed some challenges in the two camps in regard to the covid-19 guidelines including face masking and social distancing among others later asked the political leaders to evacuate all the affected families for their safety.

    The Bishop who later commended some individuals who assisted him with good supplies and accompanying him to deliver the aid also asked people of goodwill to also donate to the needy in camps.

    Some the flood victims including Ms Alice commended the Bishop for the relief before they asked government to intervene for them since most of them have nowhere to stay. Ms Alice and Jackline speaking…..

    Eelier an old man in Kanyangeya area had blamed the flooding of people’s houses to the construction in sites where bricks were being made. Mzee Alfred Baluku speaking…….

    The Bishop was accompanied by Deacon Julius Tsangamubiri, Rev Fr. Sausi Richard and Rev Fr. Joseph Syathetha. ENDS
