Kasese District local government may have to reconsider her decision over a Seed Secondary school that had been offered to Kitabu sub county by the centre but late planned for Rukoki by the Muhindi government.
According to Hon. Harold Tony Muhindo, the Bukonzo East Members of Parliament, whereas the Seed secondary school had been considered for Kitabu after the sub county convinced the Ministry of Education and sports with the initial ground work, it was the Kasese district local government that changed the plan.
Hon. Harold who represented Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga, the Minister for National Guidance as the Chief Guest at the function organized for the renovation of Kitabu primary school in Kitabu subcounty in Kasese district, said a meeting to harmonize the matter had been scheduled for tomorrow thus, calling for calm among the local community members. Hon. Harold was responding Mr. Robert Kyana, the local council three’s report that after they did all that was required for the Ministry know they were ready to host the Seed school, the plan was down played by the district local government under unclear circumstances.
