The Bishop of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale called for close collaboration of the Parish Laity councils and the Parish Priests against poverty for the good of their parishes and individual homes.
In his speech shortly after presiding over a requiem Mass of Late Rev. Fr. Joseph Matata Baluku at Kasanga Parish on Tuesday, Bishop Kibira also warned family heads against laziness which he partly blames for the increasing cases of domestic violence.
The Ordinary said he wasn’t ready to tolerate laziness among Christians, or else, the devil would be a winner. Bishop Kibira speaking ……
Bishop Kibira later asked parish leaderships in the Diocese to use the Covid-19 lockdown experience to plant trees, banana plantations, rare domestic birds and animals for any emergencies and self-reliance. Bishop Kibira speaking ……
He also asked Christians to invest vastly in the education of their children for a better future. END
