    The Kasese district Inter-religious council chairperson, Rev. Ezra Yongenza Mukonzo has joined the rest other Good Samaritans by donay donating ten boxes of soap which he thinks could be given to the less privileged people who have been seen begging in Kasese town especially every Friday.

    Speaking to the media shortly after handing over the soap to the RDC, Rev Mukonzo said that whereas where as his family is equally affected by this Corona emergency, there is a category of people he thought was badly hit by the situation. Rev Mukonzo one …………

    Rev. Mukonzo called for change of community mindset that donations are by whites and local politicians but rather join in to share the little they have with their neighbors.

    The RDC Kasese district Lt Joe Walusimbi hailed the man of God for supporting the needy during this trying moment, calling for more donations to support the needy people. Lt Walusimbi speaking……

    On Friday last week, a group of people living with disabilities stormed Kasese guide radio after failing to receive a single donation from town now that businesses are closed.

    One Mr. Kadenge a PWD couldn’t believe that he only got one thousand tow hundred shillings from 8am to 4pm. END.
