Religious leaders in Kasese district have been urged to incorporate the component of balanced diet in their sermon, as one way to fight against Malnutrition in the community.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio shortly after an advocacy meeting on nutrition to the religious leaders in Kasese district organized by Baylor Uganda in Partnership with Kasese district Local Government held at TJ Global hotel in Kasese town this afternoon, the Chairperson inter-faith committee Kasese district, Rev.Ezra Yongeza Mukonzo said it’s on record that Kasese district is ranked in the country among the districts with Malnutrition, a trend he says needs to be changed.
Rev.Mukonzo called for collaborated efforts in ensuring that the communities are sensitized about feeding on balanced diet.
