Meanwhile, police in Kiboga district have arrested a man for allegedly killing the husband of his ex-wife and severely injuring the woman at the same time in a suspected gruesome act of brutality that happened on Thursday night.
John Ntezimaana a resident of Kabutemba LC1 in Kibiga sub county and former husband of one Coldina Muwooza, has been arrested on allegations of stabbing Disan Lubega to death and severely injuring Muwooza, both residents of Rwanda LC1 also in Kibiga sub county.
It is alleged that Coldina got married to Ntezimaana in 2017 and in June this year during the lockdown they separated after she had given birth to a baby boy. However, in the middle of last month October Muwooza found Lubega as the new husband and started staying at his home which created suspicion to the suspect that the deceased was the reason she separated with him.
Racheal Kawala, the Wamala regional police spokesperson has confirmed the incident explaining that Lubega was stabbed in the stomach, his neck deeply cut and both hands also completely cut off. He died as he was being rushed to hospital. ASP Kawala speaking……
