Over ten million shillings was yesterday raised at a fundraising for the roofing project of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Katsungiro village, Mungunyu sub county in Kasese district with a call on Christians to work for a legacy.
Speaking to the media shortly after presiding over the fundraising function at the Church, the chief guest, Mzee Costa Bwambale said supporting God’s work is the best investment one can prioritize.
Mzee Costa who was recently recognized by government for being one of the reliable and biggest Cocoa exporters in western region, asked his fellow business men and women to give where need be if they were to be blessed in what they do. Mr. Costa speaking1…….

The chief builder, Mr. Alfred Baluku Kalemeko, the District Police Commander for Bugweri district commended the Christians for the relationship between the Anglican and Catholic Churches in the area, noting that their joint efforts had saved the Church from the risks of being blown off by the wind.
