    Kasese municipality has received over 316 million ugx from Central Government.

    Kasese municipality has received over 316 million shillings from Central Government under Uganda Women Entrepreneurship program this F/Y, the Kasese Municipal Member of Parliament, Hon.Ferigo Kambale has said.

    Addressing group chairperson and political leaders yesterday at Trans-Africa Gardens in Kasese town, Hon Ferigo said out of this money, 53 million shillings has been allocated to Bulembia Division and over 136 million to central division among others. Hon.Ferigo on UWEP….

    He said 77 women groups in Kasese Municipality have been selected to benefit on UWEP funds, including Kikonzo Women Thuyihimbe, Kirembe two women group, Jema Enterprises Women group, Mulongoti Catholic Women Association and Pakalast Women group among others.

    Hon.Ferigo was opprtumistic that with the united legislators and lower local councils currently in Kasese Municipality development will be realized.

    Mr. Pimako Kasereka, the Chairperson LC3 Nyamwamba Division, asked group leaders to properly utilize the funds and ensure all group members benefit.Mr.Pimako on Funds……

    Mr. Safari Martin, the Central division chairperson urged beneficiaries to become self-styled loans officers in their groups for quick loan recovery of the revolving fund.Mr.Safari on Loan Recovery…..

    He was concerned that some men who have lived a stressful life over ever demanding women of food supplements that they can themselves put on table will be relieved out of the loan profit. END.
