    Karambi S/C LC3 is the second high profile FDC politician not to seek re-election.

    The Karambi Sub-County Local council three Chairperson, Mr. Martin Masereka Balitebya becomes the second high profile FDC politician after Hon. Winfred Kiiza in Kasese district to withdraw from elective politics a head of their party primaries due next Month.

    Addressing a press in Kasese town this afternoon, Mr. Martin who believes that his party had nurtured other able politicians said that he was setting an example that politics wasn’t a life job but for the retiring politicians to be left at a consultative level in the political background.     Mr. Martin who has served Karambi sub-County as a chairman for about twelve years since 2009 after the death of his Predecessor, the late Kooli hailed his electorates for entrusting him with leadership powers, before asking the FDC candidates vying for different elective positions in the party primaries to have a political agenda.

    Earlier yesterday, Meanwhile, Hon. Catherine Muhindo Nyabahasa the aspiring candidate for the Kasese district Woman MP Seat said that her recent tour of the district shaped her future political representation that requires a bottom-up approach that would give her the opportunity to lead by the will of the people.     The district party primaries are expected on 03rd.August, according to a circular issued on Monday by the district FDC chairperson Mr. Saulo Maate. ENDS.
