Kasese district is planning to temporarily re-allocate internally displaced people at Kanyangeya primary school to Kogere primary school under a new approach to save lives from repeated deadly floods as the wet season begins.
Speaking to Kasese Guide radio in Katadoba this afternoon, Mr. Geoffrey Bigogo who said that whereas his office had officially notified the Prime Minister`s office about the relocation plans, periodic supply of relief items was paramount for the welfare of the affected persons.
Mr. Bigogo also said that he has written to the Ministry of Works and transport about the destroyed bridges that require resources to work on.

Mr. Bigogo who blamed the repeated floods to the delayed desilting of the Nyamwamba river channel, asked the Kasese Municipal leadership to back up his office with fuel so as to have the machinery given by the government, start work.` Mr. Bigogo speaking2…….
