    Heavy down pour swept away primary school’s pit latrine in Kanyatsi-Kathoma T/C, Kasese

    Over Six hundred learners at Kathembo Primary school in Kanyatsi-Kathoma town council in Kasese district are stranded after the only boys pit-latrine was swept away during last week heavy down pour.

    The deputy Head teacher Mr. Alfred Bwambale described the situation as terrible, asking the district education department and partners in development to come for rescue and construct a semi-permanent pit-Latrine for safety of learners and teachers at large.

    Mr. Alfred on disaster……

    He was suspicious that a primary school which has an enrollment of over Eight hundred pupils could not survive on the girls three stance pit-Latrine that was not affected. END.
