More interventions are required for food security now that examples of absolute poverty levels are still visible to some families, Kasese guide radio has learnt.
In a mini sample survey conducted by Kasese guide radio this week, some families can hardly afford two meals a day, situation that requires interventions, including an extra mile of hard work.
Mr. Erisa Baminyana a sugarcane dealer in Kasese says its worrying that a hungry family head cannot afford five hundred shillings but request for a sugarcane for his lunch.
He however faults government for not doing thorough survey before distributing funds intended to minimize poverty levels among the local community members. Mr. Baminyana speaking………
