The Electoral Commission is set to recruit over 962 district tally clerks ahead of the January 2021 general elections.
In a job advert published yesterday, the Electoral Commission indicated that the district tally clerks on the polling day assist in conducting of presidential and parliamentary elections, district city chairpersons and councilors, sub-county chairpersons, and councilors as well as municipal mayors and councilors.
Prospective candidates are to send their applications to the respective district registrars where the applicant may wish to apply depending on where they are born or reside not later than December 24, 2021.
