Twelve Deacons have today been ordained priests and four Samarians ordained deacons by the Bishop Diocese of Kasese Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, with a call on the new priests to always seek God’s wisdom and guidance in their ministry.

Among the twelve ordained priests at St. John’s Minor Seminary Kiburara in Kisinga sub-county during a scientific Holy Mass were first twin brothers to be ordained priests, Fr. Peter Isingoma and Fr. Andrew Kato.
Others are, Fr.Joackim Kihembo and Fr. Francis Mwanji Kasanga Parish, Fr. Alfred Masereka and Fr. Julius Bwambale Kasese Parish, Fr. Clement Masereka- Kakone Parish, Fr. Cosmas Asaba- Bukangara Parish, Fr. Edward Muhindo- Kyalhumba Parish, Fr. Brian Masereka- Nsenyi Parish, Fr. ANyesio Mbusa from Ibanda Parish and Fr. Godwin Mumbere Kitabu Parish.

The deacons are, Dn. Godwin Kibaba from Kasanga parish, Dn Baluku John Isebayanda-Kitabu parish, Dn.Mariko Bwambale –Bukangara parish and Dn.Nobert Muhindo Kabuyiri shrine.

The ordinary of Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Kibira encouraged the new ordained priests to have confidence in God who called them to do his ministry and always seek for his wisdom through the intercession of Mother Mary.

The bishop later appointed all ordained priests pastoral roles as follows, Fr. Alfred Masereka as Curate Hima Parish, Fr. Peter Isingoma as Curate Ibanda Parish, Fr. Andrew Kato as Curate Kanone Parish, Fr. Brian Masereka Curate Kasanga Parish, Fr. Clement Masereka Curate Nsenyi Parish, Fr. Cosmas Asaba Curate Kyalhumba Parish, Fr. Edward Masereka and Fr. Francis Mwanji as teachers at St. John’s Minor Seminary-Kiburara, Fr. ANyesio Mbusa as the Assistant Director Caritas Kasese, Fr. Joackim Kihemo curate Katwe Parish and Fr. Julius Bwambale Tsangamubiri as vice rector St. Michael Divine Mercy Kabuyiri.
