As the Catholic Church start the nine days of Novena for Divine Mercy, the Bishop for the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has warned believers in Christ against laziness to prayer if they were to receive God`s mercies.

Opening the Journey for the Divine Mercy Novena at Our Lady of Assumption Kasese Cathedral Church shortly after the Service for the Passion of Christ, Bishop Kibira urged Christians in the diocese to say the Lord`s prayer five times each round at 3pm and 3am for nine days, before cautioning them against being negligent to communication with their Lord.

He said repeating the Lord`s prayer five times each times of prayer represents the five wounds Christ sustained during his suffering before death.

The Ordinary who appreciated the Christian`s contributions to the new Cathedral construction, announced that construction works would soon commence but more is still needed. Bishop Kibira speaking 3 ………
