A total of 41 members of the Deacon Class year four, have today graduated with Diplomas in theological and pastoral studies at St. Paul’s National Major Seminary Kinyamasika.
The 25th graduation ceremony was graced by Rt.Rev Dr Joseph Echiru Oliach, the Bishop of Soroti diocese who also doubles as the Vice chairman Episcopal Commission for Priestly formation.
In his homily, Bishop Eciru advised graduates, to be men with courage since they ought to prepare to serve the lord despite several challenges.
The Soroti’s ordinary who is also an Old Student at Kinyamasika, urged the deacons to have respect love their God, Vocation and the entire flock of God.
He cautioned them against Alcoholism saying the vice sets bad precedence among servants of the lord.
The Rector St.Pauls Kinyamasika, Rev. Fr. Dr Vincent Muhindo, congratulated the deacons upon completion despite Covid-19 challenges that partly disrupted their studies.
He reminded the Deacons to reflect about good values instilled in them, because the world expect the best out of the lord’s servant. END.
