Mr. Zepher Mubingwa, the Kasese Deputy Resident Commissioner in charge of Busongora County has called for vigilance against suspected ADF remnants who recently attacked a school, killed dozens and injured others.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio later after second Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral Church in Kasese yesterday, Mr. Mubingwa said security had widened her investigations over whether the reported school ownership rankles and some members of the neighboring community in the rebel ranks could have aided the deadly attack.
He called for calm among the local residents he asked to volunteer information that would help security to deal with the challenge at hand. Mr. Mubigwa speaking…….
Mr. Mubigwa described the attack as a selfish decision for revenge coordinated by those he perceived to be disgruntled and suspected former school partners who could have coordinated the attackers to fail the project. Mr. Mubigwa speaking2…..
UPDF sources had told the media over the weekend that the forces had deployed Air Defense to engage and apprehend the suspects for justice to take its course and rescuing the abductees. END
