At least 38 primary school teachers and two Head teachers in Kasese district yesterday(30th.November.2021) received awards under Teacher Professional Development -TPD, a child brain of save the children international.
The best teachers were, Ms.Medius Kabugho and Matiya Wahimba from Busunga and Kasangali primary schools in the Sub-counties of Lake Katwe and Bwesumbu.

All head teachers and teachers that received awards, including Smart phones Pop 5 and six inch mattresses, were assessed basing on scheme of work, accountability and inventory among others.
Speaking to our reporter shortly after the award ceremony held at UHURU 50 hotel in Kasese town, Ms.Medius and Wahimba attributed their success to handwork and committement, but quickly called for teamwork.
