The Office of the Prime Minister has ranked Bulembia Division in Kasese Municipality the best in the district on implementing government programs.
Mr. Richard Bomera, the area Local council three chairperson, commended the central Government for its substantial financial support provided to the division over the past consecutive years.
Speaking at a press conference held yesterday afternoon at the division headquarters, Mr. Bomera expressed gratitude for the reliable funds received from the central government that has enabled service delivery to the local community.
Bomera said the criteria used by OPM office are, the relationship between civil servants and politicians, feedback on community concerns, monitoring of government programs and the partnership with non-governmental organizations among others.

He attributed the remarkable progress in the area to collaborated efforts between council members, civil servants and local community, who have worked together regardless of their political affiliations.
