His Grace Raphael P’Mony Wokorach, the Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese, has officially opened the National Youth Conference, with a call for humility, love and faithfulness among Christians.
In his speech after Holy Mass, His Grace Wokoroch said the conference attended by about 15000 youth, should be a transformative experience of faith, unity and reflection in the participants’ actions, through prayer, leadership training, cultural showcases, and sports whose activities will reflect the global Jubilee year theme of “Pilgrims of Hope”.

Rt. Rev. Constantine Rupiny, the Ordinary of Nebbi Catholic Diocese, who was the main celebrant, cautioned youths against bad peer groups that result into theft, alcoholism and sexual immorality now that their bodies are the temple of God. Rt. Rev. Constantine speaking……
According to our reporter, Mr. Francis Muhindo who is in Gulu, the Arch Bishop asked the conference participants to reap from the gathering by sharing ideas that cement their relationship with Christ. END
