Most people use TikTok mainly for entertainment, the Worldwide Bakonzo United TikTokers have come together as a unified team to change the narrative, with a bigger dream of establishing a microfinance bank to fight against poverty.
Speaking to our reporter after the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Worldwide Bakonzo TikTokers held yesterday at Railway Primary School in Kasese Municipality, the group chairperson, Ms. Evelyne Kabugho, said the association was formed with a vision of securing land to establish a microfinance bank, according to the five year strategic plan.
