Three head teachers in Kabale District are facing possible demotion to classroom teachers, while several others have been summoned to appear before the District Rewards and Sanctions Committee over poor performance in the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
Information obtained by our reporters indicates that the affected head teachers are from government-aided primary schools that registered poor results, including failure to produce Division One and Division Two candidates.
At Kentare Primary School, 12 out of 14 candidates scored Division U. At Katuna Primary School, 9 of the 36 candidates obtained Division U, while Kigata Primary School registered 8 Division U candidates out of 41. Kakondo Primary School recorded 8 Division U candidates out of 15, while at Kyeibare Primary School, 7 out of 15 candidates scored Division U.
