Stray elephants from Kibaale National Park have reportedly destroyed more than 300 acres of crop gardens in Bigando Parish, Kitswamba Sub-county, Kasese District.
Sam Mulimba, the chairperson farmers in Bigando said the attack by stray animals this month are worsening the food insecurity already caused by poor harvests in recent seasons.
