Mr. Joseph Isingoma, the Kasese district senior planner called for proper parenting aimed at promoting good morals among children if families were nurture focused family members.
He blamed indiscipline and the increasing cases of lawlessness to absentee parenting that has resulted into street kids, prostitution, drug addiction and alcoholism as well.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio in Kasese town over the weekend, Mr. Isingoma also encouraged children to be respectful, hopeful disciplined and supportive if their demands could be dealt with by their parents.
Earlier, Mr. Isingoma warned parents against engaging their underage children in some businesses like bars and shops that expose the young people to money and bad morals, making them lose focus on education. Mr. Isingoma speaking……
