The Rwenzururu Kingdom administration has highlighted education and agriculture among eight key priority areas in its newly proposed five-year Strategic Development Plan.
Rt. Hon. Benson Kule Baritazale, the Kingdom’s Prime Minister, explained that the institution conducted thorough research and identified interventions that, if effectively implemented, will significantly contribute to the kingdom’s growth and development.
According to a draft of the Strategic Development Plan, the kingdom seeks to assess the current state of education in the Rwenzori region focusing on accessibility, quality, and gender.Rt. Hon. Baritazale speaking:….
He also emphasized the kingdom’s intention to explore ways of integrating cultural values and indigenous knowledge into the curriculum at early childhood, primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels.
