The Central Division Councilhas contributed five hundred thousand shillings and Kasese Municipality One Million shillings towards the 59th Coronation AnniversaryandBirthday Runof Rwenzururu King Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma, scheduled forNovember 14th.
The Local council three Chairperson of Central Division, Mr. Safari Martine, handed over the cash contribution yesterday to Hon. Doreen Masika, the Rwenzururu Deputy Minister for Finance, in Kasese Town.
Mr. Safari said their contribution is intended to support activities planned for the 59th Coronation Anniversary, including plans to establish a Kingdom FM radio station. He also urged the public to actively support the birthday run by buying kitsanddonating cash to the cause.
