The Rwenzururu Kingdom has today launched its five-year strategic development plan for 2025–2030, valued at over 99.65 billion shillings, with a call to Kingdom subjects and well-wishers to contribute financially and materially towards its successful implementation.

Presenting the strategic plan during the 59th Coronation Anniversary and Birthday Run of the Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma, held at Nyakasanga playgrounds, the Kingdom Premier, Rt. Hon. Baritazale Kule Benson, highlighted key sectors, including education, agriculture, administration, ICT, health, gender and culture which will take the lion’s share.

In a speech delivered on behalf of His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma by the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Baritazale, the King apologized to his subjects for not attending the event, explaining that he is receiving specialized medical treatment in Turkey, sponsored by the Government of Uganda.
