The National Identification and Registration Authority-NIRA in Kasese District is stuck with over Nine thousand cards that have not yet been claimed.
NIRA coordinator for Rwenzori Region Mr. Brian Sherura, urged all Ugandans who have not picked their National Identification Cards to do so before the start of the new mass enrollment.
Mr. Brain said much as the public yesterday complained about inadequate services at NIRA offices in Kasese district which he allegedly disowned, even picking the already printed cards for individuals had reportedly failed. Mr. Brian one speaking….
He added that NIRA will also handle registrations and changes to personal information as part of the new enrollment effort this year.

He described the update of the system and voter registration as necessary because the electoral commission depends on NIRA. END.

Since last year been going to Nira to check out weather my 🆔 is out and they like it’s not yet out what could be the problem
