Mr. and Mrs. Deo Thereza Munyanzikuye, a Board Member of Kasese Guide Radio, today celebrated their 44th marriage anniversary, with a call to couples to build their marriages on love, forgiveness, and hard work.
While presiding over the Luncheon Mass at St. John Paul II Spiritual Home Chapel, Rev. Fr. Joachim Kihembo, in his homily, quoted the late Pope Francis, who described marriage as a beautiful, God-given vocation an image of Christ’s love for the Church and a path to holiness.
He emphasized the values of permanence, faithfulness, and the need for divine gracein marriage.
Fr. Kihembo, who encouraged couples to emulate the family of Mr. and Mrs. Munyanzikuye, urged families to focus on commitment beyond mere sentiment.
